Jacquie was recognized at work as really conservative person who had an excellent attendance record. Just before completing their discussion, the Human Resources director explained to Jacquie that it was very positive that she doesn't seem to have any long term alcohol effects. The Human Resources manager stated that this is important because according to alcoholism statistics and facts, the long term effects of alcohol not only impair an individual's health, but they can also destroy any and all important relationships the alcohol dependent person may have.
Jacquie thanked the Human Resources manager for his helpful and encouraging thoughts and then took the elevator to the company employee's assistance program go over her "driving under the influence" arrest, her involvement in abusive and irresponsible drinking over the weekend, and her desire to hire a DWI lawyer to represent her DUI case. After reflecting on Jacquie's "story", the psychologist from the company employee's assistance program went over Jacquie's immediate "game plan" that she needed to understand and follow.
First, she would have to take a DUI class to learn more facts and information about "driving under the influence". Second, she would also be required to take an alcohol abuse class to address her possible problem drinking. And finally, it would be an especially pragmatic thing to do if she were to talk to a DUI Lawyer about her DUI arrest.
